Just because Salsa got the day-off from rounding up cattle,

 it didn't mean he wasn't curious!

are coming into bloom!

Amazing what a little rain & a little sun will accomplish.

more touches of spring ...

Not being lulled into thinking there may not be another freeze,

I am by-passing all those beautiful annuals in the nursery's

and instead I'm getting the yard and pots for their annual plantings.

In the meantime I'm enjoying the beauty of the blooming shrubs.

What I grew-up calling "Bridal Wreath" (spiraea)

my shrubs, now in full bloom, have grown tall enough to cover my street address.
