Your Sunday Best ~ #18

This is a photograph of the back of a bench
of course I rendered it
half the fun of taking photographs is the post processing
and playing with filters and textures!

and to give you a tad bit of an idea as to what the bench looks like
this is the original photo.

Edit Me 2012 - Week 20

This weeks photo was taken by Nancy at A Rural Journal.
Nancy is not only a beautiful photographer,
but her subject matter, renderings and blog are simply fantastic!
The photo was cropped, then did a tad bit of a color adjustment and level adjustment,
then topped it off with Nancy's newest texture "Zia" on color@73%,
and used a layer mask to bring the color back on the kitty.

52 Photos Project ~ Week 4 {Movement}

During the spring branding I took over 1300 photos and have a file named 'Saga of the Calves'.

My camera allows me to take photos in quick succession and I captured a lot of dirt flying!

Tones on Tuesday

The challenge for Tones on Tuesday is to share a photo where the tones have been altered; such as black and white, sepia toned, selective coloring or colored photo.

I essentially bleached out the photo of Karen and her son Chris hoping to emphasis the subjects in the photo and added a texture to age the photo.

And one more just 'cause I'm having fun playing!

Favorite Photo Monday

This is my first entry in 'Favorite Photo Monday' hosted by Ewa Kelly-Miksa who resides in Ireland.

The guidelines are easy, my favorite photo of the week (or past) and it can be SOOC or edited.

I went by the cutting event at the Rocking Horse Ranch on Moriarty last Saturday to watch my friends compete and to drop off the disks of the photos I'd taken at the branding the week before.

As I was leaving, I took a photo with my phone camera of the ranch headquarters across the way
sitting on top of a little rise.

I was impressed.

Actually the whole scene reminded me of a Peter Hurd painting.

My thanks to Ewa for hosting this new, to me, challenge.
