52 Photos Project ~ Gallery 23 {in the circle}

Posting seems to be hit or miss, just haven't been interested in picking up my camera ...
a lot of energy being spent elsewhere I guess.

BUT I have missed participating in Bella's 52 Photos Project.

Mandarin Orange Monday #60 {fall is in the air}

Maybe not to this extreme
but our days and nights are getting so cool,
and there is a crispness in the air
that turns one's thoughts to
autumn.

 The original kitty photo was taken in Greece, one of many cats that live on the streets
and are provided for by the generous and loving nature of the Greek people.

September 19, 1919 ~ Happy Birthday

Most of all the other beautiful things in life come by twos and threes by dozens and hundreds.
Plenty of roses, stars, sunsets, rainbows, brothers, and sisters, aunts and cousins,
but only one mother in the whole world.

The Aegean Sea {Adobe LightRoom 5}

I've not posted many (any?) photos from my trip to Syros,
an island in the Aegean Sea for several reasons:

#1: I took a ton of photos and it takes a lot of time to view, edit and preview;
#2: I had purchased LR 5 to edit the photos, which was awaiting my return from Greece:
#3: My Dell was tired and I'd maxed out the memory, not with documents, but with programs;
#4: Purchased a new Dell;
#5: It takes forever to reload all my programs and I'm still not finished; but
#6: I have started a s-l-o-w integration into LR5.

What little I have used LR5 I'm liking it
and love the way it is able to bring out the detail
that is lost somewhere between my eye and the photo.

The program is anything but second nature as I struggle through the adjustments
and I am thankful Cntrl Z will still "undo" the previous adjustment!
