"There are no rules ~ However you interpret the theme, just go with it!"

The camera didn't quite capture the sun shining into the lilacs,
but believe me it was and it was a glorious sight to behold!

Your Sunday Best ~ #15

Sunday is the first day of the week for me.
 I am so glad Nancy hosts "Your Sunday Best";
it thrills me to start my week off in such a positive manner!

Gifts from the garden:

Bridal Bush in full bloom (spiraea)
Rendered with Nancy's texture Emily and Rebecca

Flax in bloom

and the "Easter Basket" petunias are still going strong
although I occasionally have to bring them in at night!

Photo Art Friday, April 27th - 29th

This weeks challenge from Bonnie at Pixel Dust Photo Art is to post an image that, as part of the editing to make it into a piece of art, uses one of her textures.

I love her new texture "Painterly", so that is want I'm posting!

this or that Thursday ~ little miracles

My (great) niece Sierra Rose was born in January, 2011 at 27 weeks; a tiny, vulnerable little girl.
Sierra was resilient enough to meet her aunties in April of 2011.

Sierra is now 18 months;
a healthy, vital, social, sweet and loving little girl
who is a joy to be with.

The above photo's were taken on Sunday, April 22, 2012.
