Photo Art Friday, May 4th - 6th

This weeks challenge from Bonnie is to showcase any piece of photo art
OR
showcase a piece of photo art that references, in even the most oblique way,
the title of one of our favorite books

 Ayn Rand's novels,
Fountain Head (1943) and Atlas Shrugged (1957)
impressed me from the very first and continue to do so.
To depict both of Ayn Rand's books,
I chose a construction project for the Fountain Head and
a quote from Atlas Shrugged.

Flower Art Friday ~ May 4

Leanne invited me to participate in a new weekly challenge, Flower Art Friday.

The gallery opens at 8:00 a.m. CST on Thursdays and it stays open until Sunday evening right before midnight.

Because I am leaving first thing in the morning for the ranch, this works perfect for me this weekend!

and hopefully next week I'll be able to share wildflower photos from the ranch
if it hasn't been to dry

Bella's Challenge
{Let the Sunshine In}
"There are no rules ~ However you interpret the theme, just go with it!"

The camera didn't quite capture the sun shining into the lilacs,
but believe me it was and it was a glorious sight to behold!

Sunday is the first day of the week for me.
 I am so glad Nancy hosts "Your Sunday Best";
it thrills me to start my week off in such a positive manner!

and the "Easter Basket" petunias are still going strong
